National Leagues

This weekend sees the opening round of National Football league throw in. Clare host Sligo in division 3 at 2pm on Sunday in Cusack Park. Éire Óg will be well represented with Manus Doherty, Ronan Lanigan, Ikem Ugwueru, Gavin Murray and Mark McInerney named to start and Einne O’Connor along with Darren O’Brien listed on the bench. We wish the team and new manager Mark Fitzgerald the very best of luck for the year ahead.

Also this Sunday Clare Intermediate Ladies host Sligo in Clarecastle Astro at 12pm, best of luck to the team and to Éire Óg’s Orla Devitt.

Next weekend the hurling begins when Clare host Cork in division 1A at 1.45pm in Cusack Park.


GAA National Club Draw 2024

This year’s National Club Draw will take place on March 27th. First prize is a brand new Dacia Sandero car, second prize is €10,000 cash and there are also 8 x All-Ireland hurling and football final package prizes.

Tickets are just €10 each with the full ticket price staying with the club. Prizes are sponsored by Croke Park. Tickets are available until early March and can be purchased online here: https://eireoginis.ie/products, printed tickets are also available from committee members. Healthy Club updates

Our All-Stars programme is back in action in the astro on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7pm. We have a steady group of volunteers assisting but more are always welcome, if you would like to be part of this rewarding and fun initiative, please contact Noreen Vaughan on 087-644 9781

Walking Wednesdays continues every Wed at 7pm from the clubhouse, would love to see more members join in, the walk takes approx. 45 minutes, all are most welcome.

We are halfway through the GAA/Irish Life Steps Challenge and have been doing fantastic. Thanks to everyone that has signed up the app to record their activities, we have logged over 18 thousand kilometres already!! Let’s keep it going, people can join at any stage of the challenge so step right up.

Info for upcoming Allianz league fixtures from Clare GAA

We hope this message finds you well. As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Allianz National Hurling and Football League fixtures, we would like to bring to your attention some important information regarding ticketing procedures.

Clare GAA are NOT providing or permitted to provide TV Live Streaming coverage of the Allianz League fixtures in Cusack Park. Therefore we ask you to communicate to Club members to NOT click or purchase any advertised links that may be making claims that Clare fixtures are being streamed live. We ask you to report any such activity if observed on the internet to us immediately.

Juvenile Ticket Information:

U16s are entitled to free entry to Cusack Park and must be accompanied with a Parent/Guardian. U16s who be asked for ID or proof of age by gate-checkers. On entering Cusack Park juveniles 16 and under are not permitted to exit the grounds on their own or in groups until such time when exit gates are open and may only do with a Parent/Guardian.

No Cash or Debit/Card Policy:

Please be aware that, in accordance with Croke Park policy, CASH and Debit/Credit cards will not be accepted at the turnstiles during the Allianz National League fixtures. We kindly request your cooperation in spreading this information among your club members through appropriate communication/social channels and to any other patrons who may know who may be planning to attend the upcoming games.

Pre-Purchase Requirement:

To ensure a speedy entry process and to adhere to Croke Park's policy, all patrons must purchase their Tickets/eTickets prior to arriving at the Cusack Park. Tickets can be purchased through the GAA/Ticketmaster links shown below or alternatively via the Clare GAA website clare.gaa.ie - a GAA/Ticketmaster user account will be required to purchase and manage tickets - for physical printed tickets, please read next section.

Early eTicket Access:

To avoid delays accessing your eTickets due to potential network/server delays of the Ticketmaster ticketing system especially during entry times of fixtures, we strongly recommend purchasing eTickets well in advance and also having them downloaded/printed/screenshots taken before nearing Cusack Park entry points. This will ensure a seamless entry process during what can busy periods during Allianz National League throw-in times throughout the country. This information would also apply to 2024 GAA Season Ticket holders who have to manage their eTickets in a similar manner.

Online Purchase and Customer Information:

When purchasing tickets online through the provided links or the GAA/Ticketmaster web pages, patrons are required to register a GAA/Ticketmaster account (if not done so already) and require a working email address. This account and linked email will be necessary to receive and access tickets online at a later stage or to deal with customer service issues. We appreciate your attention to detail in this regard.
