Academy notes

Our U17 hurlers are into the "A" Championship semi-final after winning 4 from 7 rounds. Opponents are Inagh-Kilnamona with the tie likely to be Saturday 23rd at a neutral venue. Hard luck to our U17 Academy team who were beaten in the "A" Championship semi-final on Monday evening v Doora-Barefield.

U14 hurlers are finding the going tough in the "A" competition. After a heavy loss to Cratloe they put in a good performance against a vastly more physical Inagh-Kilnamona on Sunday staying in running for a large part of the game. Our second U14 team are competing in the Academy "B" competition.

U14 football competition begins 23rd September.

Thomas Barry has been introduced to the majority of Academy Lead Coaches recently and he will be taking a number of training sessions with the groups.

Our Minors play Corofin Friday evening in Corofin.

U16s have won their 3 group games and top their group and will now play in a semi-final, date & time to be confirmed.

U14s play their shield semi-final on Saturday 16th against Scarriff-Ogonnelloe. Venue is Sixmilebridge. All support welcome for the girls.

U11s have a blitz on Saturday morning in Eire Og.

Welcome to our new games development officer Thomas Barry, who will lead our underage training session on Saturday morning at 10:30.
