Éire Óg is pleased to announce that our club intends to run the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Programme for teenagers aged 15-18 (especially current TY students this year).

The Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative, delivered in partnership with Foróige and NUIG, seeks to empower GAA members aged 15 to 18 years old to make a positive difference in their club, county, and communities through values-based leadership, in a fun and social environment.

The programme includes three modules that will run from mid-October 2023. Modules 1 and 2 consist of interactive workshops that take place over 30 hours. Module 3 is a community action project in Term 3. Anyone who completes all three modules will have the opportunity to graduate from NUIG with a Foundation Certificate in Youth Leadership and Community Action.
